A range of contemporary dining room furniture made from solid and oak veneers with a natural lacquer. Designed exclusively for John Lewis by Bethan Gray. Bethan says, “The pared back simplicity of Newman, using high quality materials and highlighting craftsmanship, resonate particularly with how I love to design.” The design itself is associated with longevity and understated luxury. It is predominately made of solid oak with simple, clean lines and a pared back look. Made using advanced machinery and finished by hand, the Newman TV stand features a durable mitre joint carcass. Making full use of the directional grain of the wood, the front incorporates a grooved design to form a unique diagonal pattern across the face for a striking and decorative finish. With three compartments, the unit has a single drawer and two cupboards (at the centre and right hand side) which have flip down doors allowing you to stash all your media technology out of sight, and enjoy the beautiful design of the front.
