A range of contemporary dining room furniture made from solid and oak veneers with a natural lacquer. Designed exclusively for John Lewis by Bethan Gray. Bethan says, “The pared back simplicity of Newman, using high quality materials and highlighting craftsmanship, resonate particularly with how I love to design.” The design itself is associated with longevity and understated luxury. It is predominately made of solid oak with simple, clean lines and a pared back look. This dining bench is made entirely of oak. The grain direction follows the width of the bench, emphasising the solidity of the wood and giving it a contemporary feel. The X-shaped legs are strengthened by a stretcher bar for a distinctive look. Seats up to 3 people comfortably.
