Abbeydale Blanket Box combines a quintessential British style with innovation and charm. This practical storage piece marries elements of the Art Deco style with the recent trend for weathered ribbed panels. The curving front and simple silhouette presents a contemporary yet elegant appearance, perfect for modern luxury decorating. Local Elm solids and veneers are used in the construction of the carcase, subtly brushed to accentuate the grain which can be seen through the Soft Natural paint finish. Solid poplar is then used for the ribbed details, lightly weathered and lacquered for protection. The lid opens and closes with a safe, soft close mechanism and doubles as a seat; beatifully upholstered inside and out with a natural poly-cotton fabric.
