Qualita acquires Centrepiece International’s wholesale business

UK furniture wholesaler Qualita has announced the acquisition of Centrepiece International’s wholesale operation.

This strategic move expands Qualita’s product portfolio, supply chain and customer base, while providing Centrepiece with significant growth opportunities.

Through this acquisition, Qualita gains access to Centrepiece’s established product lines (principally metal, glass and marble dining and occasional furniture), expanding its portfolio and catering to a wider range of customer needs. Additionally, Centrepiece’s existing supply chains and customer base will be integrated within Qualita’s network, creating a more efficient and comprehensive distribution system.

Centrepiece, now part of a larger group under Qualita, will benefit from access to Qualita’s extensive overseas customer base and sales network, accelerating its development. Centrepiece will also leverage Qualita’s resources to further enhance its product development and sales capabilities.

Both Qualita and Centrepiece are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for their customers. Existing Centrepiece agents will continue operations as usual, as many already represent both companies. Matt Casson, the owner and MD of Centrepiece International, will now dedicate his focus on product development and sales, while the Qualita team will provide full support throughout the integration process.
